Woven shirts

I hate ironing!

Supermum has her kids in freshly ironed shorts and shirts every day of the school term. Supermum irons their undies and socks too. Supermum still has time to straighten her hair before leaving the house, dropping the kids at school before going to her job as a high-flying merchant banker/philanthropist.

Here's a tip: Supermum doesn't really exist.

Sure you can stay up till midnight ironing shirts that will be streaked with milk by breakfasts' end, or skirts that will be crumpled before they alight from the morning bus.

Or you can be more sensible with your time, and keep the iron stashed away in the linen press.

If it's warm outside on washing day, put wet shirts on a hanger and then out on the line; the creases will flatten out by themselves! Or if the stuff's in a clothes dryer, fold them straight out of the dryer for perfect results.

Then grab a magazine, a mug of coffee and put your feet up for twenty minutes instead.

When you're shopping for school clothes, look for ones that are easy to care for. While you're on this site, look for the Stubbies Easy Care logo on featured garments.
